Dr. Algirdas Puisys
Algirdas Puisys has been working in private practice in Vilnius, Lithuania since 2002, after graduating from Vilnius University. He did a periodontology residency at Lithuania University of Health Sciences in 2006 and was awarded a PhD from Vilnius University in 2016 . Dr. Algirdas Puisys is an ITI Fellow and runs the ITI Study Club in Vilnius.

Biathlon Day
Transfer to Ignalina – the Lithuanian winter sports base – where you will discover the biathlon. Compete with your fellow participants and former biathlon national champion Algirdas Puisys.
After the competition, visit Algirdas Puisys’ farmhouse home. Take a walk around the scenic lake or enjoy a cold drink in the sauna while discussing cases.
The day will be rounded off by a relaxing dinner before the bus takes you back to Vilnius.

Starting with a welcome dinner and views from the VIC clinic roof top, to relaxing in the comfort of Algirdas Puisys’ farmhouse after the Dentists’ Biathlon, and views of magical Trakai Castle while enjoying a waterfront dinner. A tour of Vilnius’ bar scene has been reserved for the final night.

Is Vilnius worth a visit?
Considered one of the largest and best preserved old towns in Europe, Vilnius was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. The architectural style known as Vilnian Baroque is named after the city, which is the largest Baroque city north of the Alps, and the easternmost one.
Vilnius is a city full of surprises and is definitely worth a visit. With its stunning architecture, rich history, vibrant culture, and fantastic food and drink scene, there’s something for everyone.
Where will the course take place?
The ITI Course Vilnius will take place at the Vilnius Implantology Center Clinic which is located in the heart of the city close to the old town.

Is accommodation included in the course package?
No, accommodation is not included in the course package. We leave it at your discretion to select and book a hotel in the vicinity of the course location.
What are the hotel price ranges for Vilnius?
Depending on your choice and preferences, hotel prices range from EUR 60 per night (2-3 star hotels) to EUR 210 per night (4 and 5 star hotels).
Do you have recommendations for hotels?
Is travel included in the course package?
No, travel is not included in the course package. Course attendees are responsible to book their journey.
How can I get to Vilnius?
Vilnius airport is connected to more than 60 destinations including international hubs such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Zurich, Vienna, Rome, Istanbul and many more.

Does the ITI provide visa support letters?
Visa support letters can be requested during the registration process and will be provided to participants who have paid the registration fee in full.
The following information needs to be provided for visa support letters:
- Full name as in the passport
- Passport number
- Passport date of issue
- Passport date of expiry
- Nationality
Do I need travel insurance?
The terms and conditions of particpation allow for a cancellation of the course in case of low partcipation or other incidences beyond the control of the organizer. Thus, it is stronlgy recommended that you take out a travel insurance covering the costs of travel and accommodation.
How can I pay for my registration?
Payment is by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) only. The registration fee has to be paid in full at the end of the registration process.
Will I receive a refund if I need to cancel my registration?
Cancellations must be sent in writing to [email protected].
All cancellations will be handled according to the ITI Event Terms & Conditions.
Cancellations received by
> 90 days prior to the first event day: 100% refund
≥ 30 days prior to the first event day: 50% refund
< 30 days prior to the first event day: No refund will be issued
